Tattoo Aftercare
Read and follow these instructions for a healthy tattoo
Removing Bandage -- Leave on for up to 3 days
1. Clean your hands with soap and water
2. Start by running water on the adhesive bandage for a few seconds, then slowly remove the bandage from top to bottom under running water. (Please note: oversaturating the bandage in water will help loosen the adhesive )
3. After the bandage is removed, lather your hands with antibacterial or non-scented (preferably liquid) soap and water, then gently cleanse (DO NOT SCRUB) the tattood area. (Recommended products: Tattoo Goo Antibacterial Soap, Dial Gold Liquid Soap)
4. Rinse the soap off with water and pat (DO NOT RUB) the area dry with a paper towel. NO CLOTH TOWELS.
5. Apply a very thin layer of ointment or non-fragment lotion. (Recommended products: Tattoo Goo Aftercare Ointment, A&D Ointment, Hustle Butter, Lubriderm, Eucerin, Aquaphor)
6. Continue washing with antibacterial soap (morning and night) and applying ointment (after each wash) for the next 2 weeks as your tattoo heals

*DON’T scratch the tattoo when it’s itchy
*DON’T sunbathe or have direct sunlight for extended periods of time
*DON’T peel or pick at the tattoo
*DON’T submerge tattoo in large bodies of water (pools, lakes, ocean, jacuzzi, or bath)
